(Seneca, SC)———-The Seneca Bobcats and the Powdersville Patriots will square off tonight in a Western AAA conference game at Bobcat Stadium at Tom Bass Field.

Powdersville Coach Robert Mustar has high praise for the Seneca football team and the Seneca program in general. Coach Mustar believes that Seneca Coach David Crane has them going in the right direction.

“They’ve always got some big kids over there,” says Coach Mustar. “They move well. They look like they are a discipline football team. And once again, he (Coach David Crane) is from there. He’s taken pride in what is going on over there at Seneca.”

Meanwhile, the Walhalla Razorbacks will host #2 Daniel tonight at home in Picket Post in a Region 1-AAAA matchup.

Last year, the Razorbacks lost on the road at Singleton Field. Walhalla coach Padgett Johnson talks about the home field advantage that Walhalla should have tonight against Daniel.

“It’s always nice to play at home, familiar surroundings, and you don’t have to travel and make any special arrangements,” says Coach Padgett. “The guys are very comfortable with everything and we always have such a very good home crowd anyway that is very supportive with what we’re doing.”

The South Carolina Gamecocks will look for their second straight upset of a top ten team when Carolina hosts #9 Florida at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

South Carolina Coach Will Muschamp talks about the play the last few weeks of Florida quarterback Kyle Trask.

“He (Trask) is an outstanding play caller,” says Coach Muschamp. ”He threw for over 300 yards Saturday night in Baton Rouge. He’s got arm talent, and just very impressed with what he has accomplished and done.”
