Sports Update For Friday, October 4th, 2019; Walhalla Hosts B-HP in one of the biggest games in tonight’s high school football action

(Seneca, SC)——-One of the biggest high school football games in the Upstate will take place tonight in Picket Post on the campus of Walhalla High School as the undefeated and seventh ranked Walhalla Razorbacks host the 3-1 B-HP Bears in the region opener for both schools.

Last year, the Razorbacks went on the road and upset B-HP in one of the biggest wins in school history for Walhalla.

Walhalla head coach Padgett Johnson says that some of the keys to tonight’s game will be Walhalla matching the physicality of B-HP, plus, the Razorbacks will need to stop the Bears running game and on defense, try to force B-HP to throw the football when they do not want to.

Coach Johnson says that Walhalla will have to run the football tonight to be successful and to take what the B-HP defense gives them, however, Johnson says that Walhalla must be ready to take advantage of big play opportunities when they present themselves.

Johnson says that B-HP is the best and most complete team that the Razorbacks have faced so far this season.

The Seneca Bobcats will take on the Liberty Red Devils at home tonight in the Western AAA opener for both teams. At 6pm tonight, we will have the McDonald’s Tailgate Show followed by the Tri-Star Imports Pregame Show at 7pm and then kickoff at 7:30pm from Tom Bass Field at Bobcat Stadium this evening.
