Sports Update For Monday, April 15th, 2019; Fundraising Golf Tournaments For Walhalla And Seneca Upcoming In A Few Weeks
(Seneca, SC)—————-Daniel defeated Walhalla in softball action last Friday night by a score of 11-5.
Even with spring break going on this week, the Seneca and Walhalla baseball teams have games scheduled this week. Seneca will travel to Rabun Gap, GA tonight in a game with a scheduled first pitch of 5pm. Walhalla has a game scheduled this morning in Easley at the J.B. “Red” Owens complex with Eastside with an 11:30am first pitch.
There are a couple of fund raising golf tournament coming up in the new few weeks for Walhalla and Seneca High School’s. The 2019 Razorback Golf Tournament is scheduled for April 27th at Falcon’s Lair. The tournament is a major fundraiser for the Walhalla Athletic Department. The Seneca High School golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 3rd at Cross Creek Plantation with a scheduled start time of 1pm. The Clemson baseball team was swept in a weekend series in the ACC by Florida State in Tallahassee while the South Carolina baseball team lost two out of three games against Florida this weekend in the SEC.
