Sports Update For Monday, July 29th, 2019; Three Clemson Football Players Named To Watch List For Walter Camp Player Of The Year Award
(Seneca, SC)—-The Walter Camp Foundation has announced their watch list for the 2019 Walter Camp Player of the Year Award and three Clemson football players are on that list.
Clemson Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, Clemson Running Back Travis Etienne and Clemson Defensive End Xavier Thomas are among the forty players named to the watch list.
Etienne was named a 2018 Walter Camp 2nd Team All-American last year.
Thanks to a third place finish at the 2019 USATF Outdoor Championships, South Carolina track and field junior Wadeline Jonathas has qualified for the IAAF World Championships in the 400 meters.
Jonathas earned two NCAA Championships in her first season at Carolina.
