Sports Update For Monday, July 5th, 2019; South Carolina Senior Quarterback Jake Bentley Comments On Final Training Camp
(Seneca, SC)——South Carolina women’s soccer player Grace Fisk has been named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, which recognizes the top women’s soccer player in NCAA Division 1.
This is the second year in a row that Fisk has named to the list. Fisk is a two time All-American and the two-time defending SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
The South Carolina football team began training camp last week as it prepares for the upcoming 2019 season. This year’s training camp will be the last training camp for Senior Gamecock quarterback Jake Bentley.
“I think the biggest thing is the feeling of not taking anything for granted,” according to Bentley. “And not to take for granted just the time to be with the guys. When practice is hard and it is hot and it’s tough to keep going is remembering that it is the last time to do it with this group of guys.”
