Sports Update For Monday, June 24th, 2019; Former Alabama Guard Transfers To Clemson Basketball Program

(Seneca, SC)———-Clemson Head Men’s Basketball Coach Brad Brownell has officially announced the addition of Alabama graduate transfer wing Tevin Mack. 

Mack, who originally signed a letter of intent with Texas out of Dreher High School in Columbia, played two seasons with the Longhorns before transferring and playing last season with the Crimson Tide. 

Mack was a consensus top-100 player coming out of high school and was ranked as high as the number 48 prospect in the country his senior year by ESPN. 

Clemson has also announced that Matt Walters has joined the Clemson men’s tennis staff as an assistant coach. 

Walters spent the last two years as assistant coach at Central Florida and is a former assistant coach at Mississippi State. 

Furman University announced in a press release that for Paladin soccer player Walker Zimmerman has been selected to the 2019 MLS All-Star Game. 

Zimmerman was an All-American at Furman in 2011 and 2012 and was selected seventh overall by FC Dallas in the 2013 MLS Super Draft and is a current player at LAFC.
