Sports Update For Monday, october 21st, 2019; busy week for Seneca Athletics

(Seneca, SC)—-According to information provided by Seneca Athletic Director Andy Bay, the Seneca Volleyball team will take on Liberty tonight at 6pm at Daniel High School in a play-in game to determine the final conference spot for the upcoming playoffs.

Also, Coach Bay tells us that the girls golf team will be play in the Upper State AAA golf tournament beginning tomorrow at Carolina Springs Golf Course.

Finally, the Seneca girls tennis team will begin the first round of the playoffs at Seneca Wednesday night against Carolina at 6pm while the Bobcat Cross Country team will take part in the region championship at Liberty on Thursday, October 24th at 5:30pm.

College soccer over the weekend saw South Carolina defeat Florida Atlantic 2-1 last night in men’s action while the 8th ranked Clemson men’s team defeated Syracuse Saturday night 7-4. In women’s soccer action, Clemson defeated Syracuse Saturday night 4-1.

The South Carolina baseball team defeated Georgia Tech at Founders Park yesterday in 12 innings by a score of 10-6 in a fall scrimmage.
