Sports Update For Thursday, April 11th, 2019; High School Sports Dominate The Sports Landscape

(Seneca, SC)————-The Walhalla baseball team picked up a win last night with an 8-1 decision over county rival West-Oak. Alec Woodard had two RBI’s for Walhalla in the win. Eaton, Goforth and Black had two hits each for West-Oak. 

The Seneca baseball team picked up an important conference win last night, 3-2 over Pendleton. Matthew Burgess, Trent Land and Cole Bay had RBI’s for Seneca while Dakota Peters had two hits for the Bobcats. 

West-Oak picked up a win last night over county rival Seneca in women’s soccer by a score of 5-2 in overtime. Reagan Baird had a goal and an assist while Anne Hamilton-Leroy had a goal for the Lady Cats. 

According to Seneca Head Coach Rick Moxley, Seneca is currently tied with Pendleton for third place in the region, which will necessitate a game between the two teams after spring break. 

The Seneca softball team picked up a win in conference last night with a 2-1 decision over Crescent. Gabby Molloseau pitched a complete game two-hitter for the Lady Cats. 

The Walhalla softball team lost 9-1 last night to Pickens. 

The Clemson baseball team picked up a 2-0 win last night over Furman at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
