Sports Update for Wednesday, February 20th: Seneca Men’s Basketball Falls One Game Short of Upper State Championship Game

The Seneca Men’s Basketball team fell one game short of the AAA Upper State Championship Game last night after a 66-60 loss to Chester. 

Jared Rogers led Seneca in scoring with 23 points. Leon Goldsborough led four Chester players in double figures with 16 points. 

The Upper State Championship Games are set for this weekend at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Here is the schedule:

The Clemson Basketball team lost in the ACC last night at home to Florida State 77-64 while South Carolina picked up a win in the SEC with a 79-64 win.

The South Carolina baseball team defeated Winthrop yesterday by a score of 8-6 to go 3-1 on the season. The Gamecocks do have a game scheduled for today at Founder Park at 4pm against Presbyterian. The Clemson baseball team’s game that was scheduled today against Tennessee Tech has been postponed and have been rescheduled for April 24th.
