Sports Update For Wednesday, June 19th, 2019; Clemson Women’s Basketball To Face Iowa Next Season In ACC/Big Ten Challenge

(Seneca, SC)——————–Clemson University announced yesterday that the Clemson women’s basketball team will travel to face Iowa in the ACC/Big Ten challenge next basketball season. The game will be played on Wednesday, December 5th with tipoff time and network designation to be announced at a later time. 

Both teams made the NCAA tournament last season, with Amanda Butler’s team finishing with a 20-13 overall record. 

This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

South Carolina rising senior golfer Lois Kaye Go recently helped the international team win the 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup. Go was named an All-American this past season by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association as well as being named a first team All-SEC. 

Clemson women’s golf coach Kelly Hester announced that Canadian native Savannah Grewal has signed a national letter of intent with the Tigers program. According to Golfweek and the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings, Grewal is the highest ranked Canadian women’s golfer and is ranked 34th overall by Golfweek.
