(Seneca, SC)—-#4 Clemson will step out of conference this Saturday in Death Valley as they take on the Wofford Terriers in a game with a 4pm kickoff.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said yesterday during his weekly press conference that the Tigers want to continue the momentum they have continued to gain as the season has gone along.

“For us, it’s really just about playing well and continuing to build the momentum that we’ve had,” according to Coach Swinney. “I think after eight games we’re really have, we’ve had an excellent season. And we really have played some good football all year long.”

Other games in the ACC this weekend include Boston College at Syracuse, N.C. State at #23 Wake Forest, Virginia Tech at #16 Notre Dame, Miami at Florida State, Pitt at Georgia Tech and Virginia at North Carolina.

It will be a championship Friday night at Bobcat Stadium at Tom Bass Field as Seneca hosts Pendleton in a game for the outright Region 1-AAA championship.

Seneca Football Coach David Crane is very impressed with the Pendleton team on both sides of the football.

“You know that anytime you play Pendleton, you’re going to face a tremendous group of athletes and they have that once again,” according to Seneca Football Coach David Crane. “Very talented on both sides of the ball. You know, not many of those kids have to play both ways, that obviously helps them. So, they’ve got outstanding skill position players on offense, complemented by a very athletic defense.”
