Sports Update For Wednesday, September 4th, 2019; Clemson Preparing For Big Challenge From Texas A & M This Saturday

(Seneca, SC)—–#1 Clemson will host one of the biggest games in week #2 of the college football season as the Tigers will host #12 Texas A & M Saturday in Death Valley.

Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney says that Saturday’s game will be a great challenge for Clemson and he is very impressed with Texas A & M.  Swinney feels that the Aggies got better and better as last season went along.

Swinney says that Aggie quarterback Kellen Mond is a really good player who is bigger, faster, stronger, smarter and more confident than he was at this time last year.

Meanwhile, South Carolina will host Charleston Southern in their home owner Saturday afternoon at Williams Brice Stadium. However, the Gamecocks will be without the services of starting quarterback Jake Bentley Saturday due to an injury suffered during the last play of last Saturday’s loss against North Carolina in Charlotte.

Freshman Ryan Hilinski will get the start for South Carolina Saturday.
