Starr Man Arrested on Child Sexual Exploitation Charges

Christopher Mills, 23, of Starr, was arrested on February 7 after an investigation linked him to the distribution and possession of child sexual material. Authorities began investigating Mills in March 2024 following multiple CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Detectives, along with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, uncovered evidence that Mills uploaded and distributed the material, leading to 15 charges. He faces nine counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and six counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Mills remains in the Anderson County Detention Center with a total bond set at $75,000 as the Attorney General’s Office prosecutes the case.
