State of Oconee scheduled for Feb. 23

Celebrate Oconee on Friday, Feb. 23, as the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual State of Oconee as well as celebrate the county’s Sesquicentennial. Oconee County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Vanessa Penton said, “We will take a walk back in time through stories told and discover the rich history Oconee County has experienced over the last 150 years. We’ll also look to the future as we benefit living and working in beautiful Oconee County. State of Oconee will be held at Blue Ridge Elementary School at 995 South Oak Street in Seneca.
