Still Time to enter OMC’s Golf Ball Drop

Just a few days left to enter Oconee Medical Center’s annual golf ball drop at noon on Wednesday, explains Oconee Medical Center Foundation executive director Cortni Nations.  “$50 buys you a numbered ball and on Wednesday outside Oconee Medical Center, a helicopter will drop 200 balls, if we sell all 200, on the lawn there.  There will be a big bull’s eye painted and closest to the bull’s eye will win $2,500, if we sell all 200 balls and there is cash money for second and third closest.  As of Friday, we have sold 178, so we are well on our way to meeting our goal.” This is part of the hospital’s annual Golf Classic on Thursday at Keowee Key and Cross Creek Plantation to raise money for the Oconee Medical Center Foundation.  To purchase a golf ball or register for the Golf Classic, call 864-885-7562.  The deadline to purchase golf balls is Tuesday at 5pm.
