Super Bowl Hangover

Labor attorney Paul Lanigan says the day after the Super Bowl each year costs American businesses billions of dollars because of the distraction.  “Attendance, lose of productivity, excessive internet searching and surfing and things like that.” Last year, 1.5 million workers did not show up the day after the game.  More than 4 million showed up late.  Lanigan says employers should be proactive and not afraid to remind employees that today is a regular workday.  Last night, the Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 to claim the NFL Championship.
