TCTC and PC enter Articulation Agreement

An inter-collegiate agreement between Tri-County Technical College and Presbyterian College will ensure the best and brightest students from the Upstate have an opportunity to earn advanced degrees. Tri-County Technical College Science Department Head Dr. Sue Ellenberger gives details. “This is something very exciting, we recently signed an articulation agreement with Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy and what this agreement says is that all of Tri-County Technical College’s qualified applicants are guaranteed an interview with Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy.  This is a really important thing because in the application process, quite often the most difficult thing is just getting an interview and our qualified students will be guaranteed this interview.” A pre-pharmacy degree from Tri-County Technical College fulfills pre-requisite course requirement for application to the Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy. This two-year program, titled General Technology with a concentration in Pre-Pharmacy, is a mix of online and traditional courses.  Since the program began in 2009 at Tri-County Technical College, it has averaged 44 students each academic year.  To date, 14 Tri-County Technical College students have been accepted into pharmacy schools with sustained academic success.
