TCTC Chorus’ Spring Concert is April 26

Tri-County Technical College’s chorus, music faculty and students will present their Spring Concert on April 26. . The concert will be held at 7pm in the Marshall Parker Auditorium on the Pendleton Campus. The performance is free and open to the public. This will be the fourth performance for the chorus under the direction of conductor and music instructor Jeff Christmas.  The concert will feature a variety of works by the choir, including traditional American folk song arrangements by Aaron Copland, a moving setting of a traditional Hebrew prayer, “Ani ma’amin,” a stirring spiritual called “Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning” and an excerpt from Mozart’s Requiem, “Lacrimosa.”  In addition to the choral performance, there will be works by faculty members Anita Brown (piano), Alice Skaar (violin), Jeff Christmas (baritone) and several student performances, both vocal and instrumental.
