The South Carolina Highway Patrol Files Charges In Two Tuesday Morning Accidents

(Seneca, SC)————————-The South Carolina Highway Patrol has filed charges in two separate accidents that occurred on Tuesday morning, one of those in Pickens County near Easley and one in Anderson County near the city of Anderson. 

According to Lance Corporal Joe Hovis from the Highway Patrol, troopers have charged Keith Lamar Shannon of Spring Hill, Florida in accident that occurred on Highway 123 at Highway 124. Shannon was the driver of a tractor trailer pulling a tanker that crossed the center line and side swiped a pickup truck that was pulling a utility trailer. The driver of the pick up truck was transported to the hospital for treatment. 

Meanwhile, Lance Corporal Hovis tells us that troopers have also charged a Lexington, North Carolina man with driving Too Fast For Conditions after the tractor trailer he was driving overturning at exit 19 at I-85 in Anderson County. James Larry Wright was on the entrance ramp from Clemson Boulevard onto I-85 northbound when his tractor trailer overturned and went off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail. The accident in Anderson Count happened around 11:50am.
