Thief strikes Westminster Store

On Friday, Westminster Police were alerted to a man who walked into the office of the Dollar General on East Main Street and stole money and financial cards from the women’s pocketbooks who work at the store.  Westminster Police Chief Dean Awalt said the theft occurred between 3 and 4pm Friday afternoon. The police believe the thief got away after getting into a dark-colored car driven by a woman.  If you have any information regarding this theft please call the Westminster Police Department.
