Three Arrested After Search Warrant Execution on Wednesday

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Wednesday at a residence on Clearmont Road in Westminster.

According to reports, the search resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of several illegal substances and weapons. The suspects have been identified as 40-year-old Cecil Mark Fowler of Seneca, and 34-year-old Shannon Leigh Burnside, along with 38-year-old Shaun Eric Hornick, both of Westminster. The search reportedly yielded methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs, fentanyl, and guns, as well as a significant amount of cash.

All three individuals have been taken into custody and are facing multiple charges related to drug possession and trafficking, as well as weapons offenses. Hornick also had two outstanding arrest warrants for Trafficking in Methamphetamine.

The investigation is ongoing.
