Three Major Seneca Projects in 2014
Three major infrastructure projects are planned in the City of Seneca this year. Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander says these projects are being necessitated by the need for more space and more safety. “The Light and Water project, causing we are moving from Kellett moving to a different location, that will come through this year as far as the new location where we are actually going. I know Utilities Director Bob Faires is looking at the present location and how we might be able to configure some things different there and be able to add some things. The Water Plant there is lots of work going on there and there are several safety issues there that they want to address too, so that project will start in 2014. Another much-needed project is the substation behind City Hall. It is an older substation and it is real tight quarters in there, so it is dangerous for people to be able to work, so that is another project this year that we are planning to get started on.” Planning is underway on all three projects in the City of Seneca.
