Thrift Development announces work on SC 153

Thrift Development of Seneca announces upcoming temporary traffic control operations related to the SC-153 extension project in Easley. Weather permitting, these operations will begin at 11pm on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, and end on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at 5am, but may be pushed to Wednesday if weather dictates. The temporary traffic control operations will consist of pacing operations along U.S. 123 near and around the intersection with S.C. 153. Traffic pacing is a traffic control technique used to slow but not stop traffic to facilitate short duration work operations. The primary purpose of the project is to reduce congestion on U.S. 123 and to improve mobility on the eastern side of Easley.
