Tickets still remain for Celebrate Oconee

A few tickets still remain for Celebrate Oconee! This will be the major sesquicentennial party for the county. It takes place on Friday, Oct. 12, from 6-9pm at Chattooga Belle Farm in Long Creek. This event will feature live music by The Wobblers, dinner, a live auction, and an $1,868 raffle. The official sesquicentennial sculpture will be unveiled and guests will also be encouraged to participate in the creation of an on-site collaborative painting. Tickets are $150 per couple or $75 per individual. All proceeds will benefit Oconee Heritage Center museums. Tickets are available at the Oconee Heritage Center, which is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in downtown Walhalla or online at www.oconeeheritagecenter.org.
