CareerBuilder and Economic Modeling Specialists have released the best bachelor degree jobs for 2013 based on occupations with the most jobs added since 2010. Occupations requiring bachelor degrees that have produced the most jobs post-recession include software developers, which tops the list, says CareerBuilder’s Jennifer Grasz. “Companies are competing to get to market to first with innovations that will create new revenue streams.  They want to capitalize on mobile technologies, social media, they want to do more with big data and so you are seeing big growth in that area.” Competition is increasing to hire the most educated workers, adds Grasz. “Competition for educated, specialized labor has actually intensified.  Market demands are increasing in both the services sector and the manufacturing sector.” It is a very different job market than a few years ago, explains Grasz.  “The job market a couple of years was a different picture; there were certain types of occupations, company sizes, and certain markets that were hiring.  That is different today; we do see more jobs opening up across industries, across company sizes, across job levels within an organization.” Grasz gives the best bachelor degree jobs for 2013 based on occupations with the most jobs added since 2010. “Software developers are number one, big demand in technology and then you also have accountants and auditors.  Market research analysts and marketing specialists are listed at number three.  Computer systems analysts came in at number four.  Number five was human resources, training and labor relations specialists; we are seeing more demand there as well.” To read the complete list of the best bachelor degree jobs for 2013 visit www.CareerBuilder.com.
