Town mourning passing of Mayor

The Town of Salem is mourning the passing of Mayor Diane Head. According to an announcement, Mayor Head died Wednesday morning. She was in her third term of office and was known as the People’s Mayor. A service is planned for 4pm, Saturday, July 21, at Eagle Ridge Charter School. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diane Head Memorial Scholarship at any branch of Community First Bank.
