Townville Man Charged with Firearm and Probation Violations
On Wednesday, Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man wanted by the South Carolina Probation, Pardon and Parole Service and charged him with violation of probation and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

42 year-old Joshua James Witherington of Townville is being held in the Oconee County Detention Center with a bond set at $60,000. Back in July of last year, Witherington was arrested along with two other men, 19 year old Christopher Jacob Barrett and 42 year old Christopher Wade Prichard, on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine.
