Traffic Incident Near Seneca: Car Strikes Equipment Trailer

This morning near Seneca, a vehicle collided with a trailer transporting equipment on S. Oak Street. Chief Richie Caudill of the Seneca Fire Department reported that the car caught fire, and its driver was taken to the hospital for treatment. The incident occurred on S. Oak between Dalton Road and Crescent Street, necessitating a traffic diversion. At the time of the accident, the trailer was unloading equipment for a new housing development under construction. In addition to the Seneca Fire Department, city police and the state patrol also responded to the scene.
