Tri-County Technical College’s Commissioners Introduces New member to Governing Board at October 7th meeting

(Seneca, SC)——–Tri-County Technical College has announced in a press release that the college’s Commissioners welcomed a new member to the governing board at their bi-monthly meeting on October 7th.

Larry A.Smith, the retired plant manager for Schneider Electric in Seneca, was appointed by the Governor to fill the Oconee County seat vacated by Ham Hudson, who retired in June after serving 18 years on the board.

Smith served 26 years as plant manager at Schneider Electric and has been an active member on Tri-County’s advisory committees and served on Tri-County’s Foundation Board for seven years.

Smith holds an undergraduate degree and a MBA degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Members of the Tri-County’s College Commission are appointed to a three-year term.
