Upstate Halloween Fun Brings Communities Together

Halloween celebrations have filled the week in the Upstate, with Clemson and Seneca hosting events that bring families and local businesses together. On Tuesday evening, Clemson’s College Avenue welcomed trick-or-treaters for an early Halloween event as local businesses transformed the street with candy tables and festive displays.

In Seneca, festivities continue tonight, October 31, with “Halloween on the Green” from 5 to 8 p.m. at Norton Thompson Park. Families are invited to trick-or-treat downtown, with city officials handing out candy and hosting a costume contest for children 12 and under at 6:30 p.m. The evening culminates in Jazz on the Alley’s season finale from 7 to 9 p.m., where the band Alamo will perform live.

To provide a safe trick-or-treating alternative, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office will host its “Boo with the Blue” drive-thru event, welcoming kids to collect candy and view themed displays at the Law Enforcement Center parking lot.
