Upstate Independence Day Celebrations

This Independence Day, the Upstate offers a variety of celebrations.

  • Clemson will host “Light the Lake,” a fireworks show over Lake Hartwell on July 3rd.
  • Easley’s 4th of July Festival, held on July 3 and 4 in Old Market Square, will feature live music from artists like Luke Deuce, Eaglewing, Jake Crutchfield, Commodore Fox, Joe Lasher & Kaitlyn Baker, and Tyler Farr, with fireworks following the final concert.
  • In Pickens, an Independence Day Celebration on July 5 from 4 to 9 p.m. will include live music by Whiskey Mountain Band, SongBand, and Split Shot, along with food vendors, a free Kid’s Zone, and a fireworks display launched from Bruce Field, all with free admission.
  • Meanwhile, the City of Seneca will host its Independence Day Celebration at Gignilliat Field on Friday, July 4, starting with gates opening at 5 PM and festivities at 6 PM. This free event will feature live music from “Grand Paradise” (Styx Tribute) at 6 PM and “Satisfaction” (Rolling Stones Tribute) at 8 PM, along with waterslides, gaming trucks, food and drink vendors, and an award-winning fireworks display at dusk. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, and a clear bag policy will be in effect.
