Walhalla City Council Candidates Debate Key Issues

Eight of the nine Walhalla City Council candidates participated in a debate where they discussed their positions and vision for the city. The forum addressed several key topics, including the water system, annexation, and fiscal responsibility.

A notable and “heated discussion” involved the Walhalla City Police Department and the city’s leased vehicles, a subject raised by candidate Clint Burton. During the question-and-answer session, each candidate was asked a unique final question.
