Walhalla High Gets New Assistant Principal

At a meeting last week, the School District of Oconee County approved Alden Broome to take over as assistant principal of Walhalla High School next year. Broome, a Walhalla High School graduate, has taught in the district for the last seven years, including the last two at Walhalla High. Broome holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lander University in Secondary Social Studies and a Master’s from Clemson University in Educational Leadership.
