Walhalla High Teacher named State President-elect

JMcCall13Josh McCall, a member of the faculty at Walhalla High School, has been named president-elect of the SC Association of Agricultural Educators Association. He was elected to this prestigious agricultural leadership position during the association’s recent conference in Rock Hill. McCall has served as an Agri-Science instructor and FFA advisor for sixteen years, the last ten of which have been at Walhalla High School. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Agricultural Education and Master’s in Education Leadership. McCall is a member of the board of directors of the SC FFA Association and is also a member of the National Association of Agriculture Educators, the SC Association of Career and Technology Educators, and the Pendleton Farmer’s Society. The Walhalla High School FFA Chapter, under McCall’s leadership, has been awarded a State Gold Emblem Award three times by the SC FFA Association and has competed for recognition as one of the top programs in the nation. The SC Association of Agricultural Educators is a professional development organization that provides continuous educational leadership opportunities for its members and recognition of outstanding agricultural education programs in secondary schools throughout the state.
