Walhalla Man arrested on Multiple Counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Walhalla man yesterday on multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree. 43-year-old Brian Douglas Feole of Peach Drive was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 7:42pm on a Temporary Custody Order until arrest warrants were obtained today against him. The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation with the Department of Homeland Security after being notified about Feole’s involvement in the sharing or exchange of child pornography. Investigators, including Sgt. Tim Rice, the Child and Elder abuse investigator of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office who is also a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, went to the residence of Feole. Afterwards, investigators obtained a search warrant and seized evidence in the investigation. According to arrest warrants obtained in the investigation, Feole is charged with possession of images consistent with child pornography. The total number of arrest warrants obtained was twelve, according to Sgt. Rice. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation.
