Walhalla to Host Chilly Chili Bang-Bang Disc Golf Tournament

Walhalla will host the Chilly Chili Bang-Bang Tournament, a Professional Disc Golf Association-sanctioned event, on Feb. 8 at Sertoma Field, featuring two rounds of 18 holes, a chili lunch, and an awards ceremony. The city’s disc golf course, established in 2008, saw over 3,240 recorded rounds played in 2024, with 535 unique players from 27 states, according to UDisc data. Mayor Tim Hall praised city staff for developing the course, and Councilwoman Sarai Melendez highlighted the sport’s growth and accessibility. Walhalla aims to expand disc golf as interest continues to rise.
