Wanted Man apprehended by OC Sheriff’s Office

A wanted man has been apprehended by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office was searching for 54-year-old Gregory Gene Trotter to serve an arrest warrant charging him with accessory after the fact of a felony in relation to the Sept. 10, double homicide on Padgett Street near Seneca. Trotter was located Tuesday at an address on Martin Street in Westminster and was transported to the Oconee County Detention Center. He was booked in around 6:03pm. At this time, he remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center on a $50,000 surety bond.
