Wanted Man arrested by Seneca Police

On Tuesday, Nov. 7, officers with the Seneca Police Department were able to apprehend Timothy Moses Souden, who was being sought on an active warrant for grand larceny of a vehicle from within the city limits. He was also entered in the National Crimes Information Center database as wanted by several other agencies that had active warrants for his arrest. Acting on a tip, Seneca Officers were able to apprehend him at the corner of South Oak Street and Garrison Road. During the subsequent investigation following the arrest, additional information developed involving the suspect was obtained.
Investigators with the Seneca Police Department were able to link Souden to multiple crimes in the Upstate of South Carolina. At this time Souden has been linked to several car break-ins in the City of Seneca. They include the White Oak Cliffs, Adam’s Subdivision, and Dalton Road neighborhoods. Investigators are actively trying to locate all the property that was taken from these incidents. Souden is also accused of a burglary at the Shaver Recreation Complex. During the nighttime hours of Friday, Nov. 3, Souden is accused of breaking the lock on one of the concession stand doors at the complex and making entry. Officers were able to determine that several concession items were stolen from the building. Earlier that day officers actually recovered several of the concession items at a different location. The company that runs the concession stand was able to identify the items found by the Seneca Police Department as the items taken from the Shaver Complex concession stand. On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Seneca Police Investigators were able to obtain 26 additional warrants for Souden. He now stands charged with nine counts of simple larceny, five counts of malicious damage to personal property, one count of burglary in the second degree, ten counts of breaking into a motor vehicle, and one count of resisting arrest. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
