Watch for Workers in the Road

Motorists are urged to watch for workers in the road. This summer, King Asphalt will be paving roads in Oconee County. Two projects are scheduled to start this Sunday, July 15, and continue through the end of September. Road work is planned on U.S. 123 in Seneca from Highway 28 to Pine Street and from U.S. 123 in Westminster, from Dixon Road to Pickens Road. These sections will be work zones where extreme caution is necessary. Motorists are requested to lower speeds and to expect delays. Be aware that personnel and equipment will operate close to the travel lanes.
