Westminster Man And Woman Plead Guilty To Child Sexual Abuse Charges This Week In General Sessions Court
(Seneca, SC)———-A Westminster husband and wife have been sentenced this week in General Sessions Court after pleading guilty to sexual abuse of a adolescent.
According to a press release from the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, 67 year old Anthony Hugh Sluder was sentenced to 25 years in prison by judge Cordell Maddox after pleading guilty to five counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct of a Minor – Second Degree and five counts of Incest.
Sluder’s wife, 56 year old Edna Sluder, was sentenced to 20 years in prison by Judge Maddox after also pleading guilty to five counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor – Second Degree and five counts of Incest.
The investigation that led to charges being filed against the couple began in December of 2018 after a male relative of the couple came forward to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and recounted years of sexual abuse at the hands of the Sluder’s, according to the release from the Solicitor’s Office.
