Westminster Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident Near Westminster Last Friday Evening

(Seneca, SC)———-A Westminster man died Friday night in a motorcycle accident near Westminster.

According to Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis, 38 year old Trapper Scott Freeman died at the scene.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Dr. Johns Road and Brock Road.

Coroner Addis says that Mr. Freeman was wearing a helmet and his death has been classified as accidental.

Coroner Addis says that the E-911/Communications Center received the call concerning the accident around 11:12pm.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Freeman was operating a 2003 Harley Davidson Motorcycle, which was traveling west on Brock Road, traveled across Dr. John’s Road, struck a fence and overturned.

There were no passengers or other vehicles involved in the accident, according to the Highway Patrol.
