Westminster Police Department Arrest Westminster Man On Multiple Charges, Including Third Degree Arson
(Seneca, SC)————————————–The Westminster Police Department has arrested a Westminster man on outstanding charges based upon an investigation after officers responded to reports of a fire on March 17th on Huff Street inside of the city. 53 year old Sonny Sloan Peay was charged in the arrest warrants obtained on March 19th with Third Degree Arson, Negligence in Allowing a Fire To Spread To Lands of Another and Giving False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer. Peay is accused of causing a fire that damaged his land and property and then allowing the fire to spread to another piece of property that belonged to another owner.
