Westminster Police Department Arrests Westminster Woman On Drug Charges After Traffic Stop
(Seneca, SC)——————–The Westminster Police Department arrested a Westminster woman also this week on drug charges. 38 year old Anika Sue Wooten was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a traffic stop earlier this week on Grey Street. The driver of the vehicle, 40 year old Joseph Dean Fretwell of Westminster, was found to be in operation of the vehicle while driving with a suspended license. Fretwell was placed under arrest on a charge of Driving Under Suspension. Fretwell granted consent for the officer to search the vehicle. While the investigation continued, officers found a quantity of Methamphetamine on the person of Wooten. Both Fretwell and Wooten were transported and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center. Wooten was served an arrest warrant in jail on the charge of Possession of Methamphetamine – 2nd Offense.
