Westminster Police Department Seeking The Public’s Help In Regards To Investigation Into Thursday Evening Armed Robbery At Ingles Location

(Seneca, SC)——The Westminster Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Ingles location in Westminster yesterday evening. 

According to a release from the Westminster Police Department, law enforcement responded to the store location on East Main Street. According to information that has been obtained during the course of the investigation, a suspect walked into the store around 9:21pm yesterday, presented a gun and asked for money. 

The suspect, according to the police department, is a male with a stocky build, around 5’10” to 6’ tall, who was wearing black clothing that covered his body, dark colored shoes, blue gloves, a face cover and dark sun glasses. 

The suspect did leave the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
