Woman arrested for Burglary and Vandalism at Auditorium

A Walhalla woman was arrested this week after police found her hiding behind curtains of the Walhalla Civic Auditorium on North Broad Street. The Walhalla Police Department reports that 24-year-old Autumn Renee Kiser stands charged with burglary in the second degree, petit larceny, malicious damage to real property, resisting arrest and providing false information to officers. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon and police estimate $2,000 in damage was done to the auditorium. Kiser allegedly poured glue on the stage, stole clothing and broke into the auditorium through a back door sometime Monday night.
