YEAR-END NUMBERS FROM CORONER KARL ADDIS

January 8, 2019 Dick Mangrum
In the year 2018, the office of the Oconee County Coroner handled 781 calls. That amounts to more than two cases a day for which Coroner Karl Addis had responsibility to respond and handle. In the middle of the calendar year, thanks to funding from the county, Addis added his first, full-time assistant. The 781 calls, from January through December, break down into a number of categories—such as natural deaths, homicide, and traffic fatalities.
