YMCA opens Registration for Spring Activities

The Foothills Area Family YMCA continues a 25+-year tradition of youth soccer. Registration is open now through February 24 and is on a first come first served basis as space is limited. Spring soccer includes ages 3-12 and is an 8-week program beginning March 12, concluding the first week of May.  All practices and games are held at the University/Y Beach off Highway 93 near Clemson University, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30-6:30 or 6:30-7:30 depending on age division.  Payment and registration forms must be received to reserve a spot. The Foothills Area Family YMCA is offering a new cheer program for girls ages 6-10.  Registration is open now through February 8.  Practice is held for 5 weeks at the Littlejohn Community Center in Clemson, Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 beginning February 22.  This program will provide basic cheerleading instruction including cheer dance, chants, basic jumps, and showmanship and designed for fun, improved self-confidence, and self- esteem. The Foothills Area Family YMCA continues to offer Dog Obedience training.  This class offers basic instruction from experienced trainers with individualized attention for all breeds ages 6mos and up.
