2014 Bazaar and Artisan Market at Clemson Church

For more years than anyone can remember, the women of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church have sponsored an annual bazaar on the first Saturday of December to raise funds for community charities. Scheduled for Dec. 6 from 10am to 2pm, in the church fellowship hall located at 193 Old Greenville Highway across from Clemson University, the annual event will feature handcrafted and homemade goods made by church members, as well as the work of approximately 20 local artisans. Over the years, the annual bazaar has featured a variety of homemade and handcrafted goods, including themed gift baskets, baked goods, jewelry, plant cuttings, collectables, soaps, woodwork, natural cleaning products quilts, and a silent auction. This year’s highlights include a visit from Santa (10-11am) and the first in a series of ornaments featuring the stained glass windows at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. The first window will be the Nativity Window. Ornaments will be $20 the day of the bazaar. All proceeds raised from the sale of the items made by the church members will be donated to local charities, along with the booth rental fee paid by local artisans. Focus charities this year include Clemson Free Clinic, Our Daily Rest in Seneca, and Episcopal Day School Scholarships. Additional proceeds will continue to go towards other local charities.
