500 Military Families apply for Holiday Help

For the fourth year, Operation Homefront – Carolinasis matching military families in need with donors throughout the Carolinas to help deployed, returning and wounded military and their families with holiday expenses. Donors give a set amount to provide a family meal and gifts for each child.  The applications for help outline the circumstances of the families, including the names and ages of the children and the reason things are tight this year. Operation Homefront sends the donations in the form of gift cards for the military parents to use for their holidays. With 500 families including 1,450 children in need of help this holiday season, the donors of Adopt-a-Family go a long way in providing support to our troops.
