A Third Charge of Attempted Murder Filed in Pickens County in Less Than a Week

Pickens County Sheriff’s Deputies have charged a man with attempted murder. According to jail records, Timothy Wayne Seawright is in custody at the Pickens County Detention Center and is charged with attempted murder, pointing firearm at another person, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and aggravated breach of peace.

This is the third case in less than a week from Pickens County in which a suspect has been charged with attempted murder.

On Monday, Deputies arrested James Edwin Bowers, Jr., after he was accused of trying to kill his tenant. And on Tuesday, Pickens County Deputies arrested 45 year-old Jonie Annn Bridwell of Central after they said she shot a man in the upper back.

Each of those suspects remain in custody at the Pickens County Detention Center pending bond.
